Comeback to Denmark’s Former Prime Minister
Lars Løkke has been Prime Minister of Denmark for two terms. He has held several other ministerial posts, and has been a member of one of Denmark's oldest political parties, Venstre, for 40 years. But in the last few years, he has mostly been alone, after he was pressured from the chairmanship and almost thrown out of Venstre. Political commentators judged him out of politics. But in the summer of 2022 he founded a new party, called Moderaterne. (the Moderates) On the 5th of October elections were announced, and Lars Løkke drove around Denmark in a campaign car. The election campaign went well for Lars Løkke and his new party. On the 15th of December he replaced the campaign car with a ministerial car. Now as Foreign Minister.
